Due to the current medical crisis and to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep our clients and our team safe, Rhawnhurst and Elkins Park Veterinary Hospitals have enacted “Call Ahead Protocol” for all appointments and medication/prescription food pick up to limit the amount of people in our building at one time. We are asking that only one person comes in with your pet for their appointment unless necessary, or emergency situations. We are utilizing the directives of the CDC and the World Health Organization to limit the amount of social exposure, but still maintain our commitment to providing exceptional medical services to our patients.
If you are sick or showing any flu/corona-like symptoms, please have someone else come in with your pet or email/call to discuss. Please do not come into the office if you are sick.

When you arrive in your car, please call the office to announce your arrival. Please provide us with your pet’s first name and last name and confirm your cell phone. We will let you know when to come to our front door so we can let you in and escort you directly into an exam room. If we do not have an exam room ready at the time of your arrival, please be patient and we will call you when ready.
When you arrive to pick up a medication or prescription food, please follow the same protocol as above and we will assist clients with payment.
You may email or text us as well with any questions or concerns you may have. Please be advised that email and texting will be monitored during normal business hours. If there is a prolonged delay in response, please call the office.
